So I have this fish, named Hector, and he has a peculiar little story that goes along with him. When my roommates and I initially set up the aquarium Hector was relentlessly picked on by all the other fish. So badly so that at one point they ate his fins off and a portion of his side. Well Hector was no ordinary fish and did not appreciate the unwanted attention. So one day he built himself a little bunker and stood his ground for two weeks of round after round of the other five fish trying to attack him. Soon enough we noticed one fish went missing, then another and strangely enough Hector was getting bigger. He went from roughly the size of your thumb to three times that size and there were only three fish left. Of course he took them out from weakest to strongest until it was just him and the other alpha male remaining, the one that relentlessly taunted him the most. While no one truly witnessed the savagery that took place, we all saw the aftermath as the sorry soul’s head precariously drifted along the tank’s bottom. Hector proudly glided from one side of the tank to the other freely roaming as he never could before. Now the size of a healthy Bluegill, we thought it was only proper to immortalize Hector’s bravery and perseverance forever with this poster that hangs above this home.
